MOTIV is a South African robotics company helping businesses adopt practical robotics without having to become robotics experts themselves. We work across two major areas: commercial robotics for retail, property, hospitality and healthcare, and industrial automation for warehouses, logistics and manufacturing. MOTIV brings together leading global robotics technology with local integration, deployment, financing and support, starting with a real operational job and building the business case around it.
Why MOTIV exists.
MOTIV was founded by Craig Leppan and Guy Hamlin after direct engagement with leading robotics manufacturers in China. What they saw was mature, proven technology and a gap between it and South African operations.
MOTIV is not an importer or an online hardware reseller. It is the local commercial, integration and support layer that makes global robotics work in South African buildings, warehouses and plants.
